I’m Hexe, the herbalist and witch behind House of Hexe. My work sits somewhere between the apothecary shelf, the garden, the old books stacked beside my desk, and the practical witchcraft that becomes part of everyday household life.
I came to herbalism through the desire to understand plants well enough to actually work with them, not simply memorize lists of uses. That eventually grew into years of study, formulation, cultivation, experimentation, teaching, and an ever-growing collection of questions.
Witchcraft has developed beside that work rather than beneath it. House of Hexe makes room for both: evidence and folklore, material knowledge and magic, historical research and lived practice. Not everything needs to be forced into the same explanation in order to be worth studying.
This House exists because I believe useful knowledge should remain useful. It should be researched, practiced, questioned, shared, and returned to when we know more than we did before.
